Today was just a relax and enjoy the view day. Marina did some bouldering on the rocks around the campground, rode her bike for a little while, and helped me do the laundry. It was nice to just sit and have a lazy day. We plan on playing some games this evening and going across the street to the restaurant on the beach. Why not enjoy another sunset on the beach?!? We plan on getting up and leaving tomorrow and heading towards San Francisco. We want to stop and see the Golden Gate Bridge on the way to Monterey. Our original plan was to stay south of Monterey in the redwoods of Big Sur, but there was nothing available - it being Labor Day Weekend. We found a site available at an RV place in Carmel, just outside of Monterey. We have a whale watching cruise scheduled for 12noon on Saturday and we plan to see the Monterey Aquarium on Sunday. Sooo excited! |
