Christian decided to try his hand at catching some trout in the Provo River, so we headed out to Provo Canyon in the afternoon. He only caught one brown trout, but we saw some beautiful scenery. Mount Timpanogos is one of the most impressive, beautiful peaks I have seen (2nd highest in the Wasatch Range). The Timpanogos Cave is also located on the mountain, but we all decided that even though we really wanted to see it, we just weren't up to the 1.8 mile hike (one way) that gains iver 1,100 ft in elevation (for those of you who don't know...that's steep!). My stomach wasn't feeling all that well today either.
We did see some amazing waterfalls, including Bridal Veil Falls. Marina & Christian went climbing up the foot of the waterfall in the freezing cold water, but had lots of fun!
