Today was another traveling day. Christian got up early and hit the road at about 6am MT. Marina and I slept until about 8:30 when he stopped for gas. It seemed like a fairly easy, fast trip and we made good time. We pulled into the Campground at Zephyr Cove Resort at about 2:30pm PT. I have to say, all this time changing is throwing us all off. I am SOOO not used to being up at 8am, and tomorrow it will probably be 7am, because we are now in Pacific Time. It's so strange too, that I am tired and ready for bed at 9pm...lol! We got camp set up and set out for the local Safeway to get some food to grill. We had some delicious hamburgers over the fire. The view here is great and the sunset over the water and mountains was beautiful. We have a site with a partial view of Lake Tahoe. The trade-off: we are right one row over from the main road, but the traffic doesn't seem to be too bad. There are not a whole lot of people in the park. We are on the end of our row and there is no one beside us. Tug really seems to enjoy this place. He loves to lay outside on his bed, and I had to pull him inside to go to bed. We are within a 5 minute walk of the beach, so I am sure we will probably end up there at some point tomorrow! The weather looks beautiful for the rest of our time here at Lake Tahoe.
